Serving Cypress

How does therapy work for Cypress residents, by video or in person?

Cypress is in north Orange County. Eye Cue Mental Health does not have a Cypress office. Our Cerritos clinic at 17215 Studebaker Rd., Suite 110 is on the LA County and Orange County border, about 5 to 10 minutes from Cypress.

In the Cypress-area Medi-Cal market, weekly slots are scarce and many practices offer only biweekly sessions. Here, cadence is set by clinical need. Drive north on Knott Avenue to Katella Avenue, or take the 22 to the 605. Your clinician, treatment plan, and billing stay continuous whether you drive in or stay on video.

Your clinician gives you tools to continue your treatment on your own time, not just during the session. Weekly in-person or video sessions run at a cadence set by clinical need, not a plan algorithm. Call to check current availability.

Continuity of care

Do you keep the same therapist whether I join from Cypress by video or drive to Cerritos?

Big telehealth platforms cannot promise the same clinician on video and in person, because they do not have a backup office. At Eye Cue, your clinician is yours in both settings. If your schedule changes and you cannot drive, you stay on video with the same person.

Clients in the Cypress area want a therapist they can actually switch to in person if they need to. They also want weekly sessions, not biweekly, not monthly. Your clinician gives you tools to continue your treatment on your own time between sessions, so the work does not stop when the session ends. Clients often start on telehealth therapy and add in-person visits later.

Coverage

Which insurance plans does Eye Cue accept for Cypress-area clients?

We accept seven plans: Medi-Cal, Anthem Medi-Cal, Blue Shield Promise Medi-Cal, LA Care, Molina, Cigna, and Aetna. We have held these contracts since November 2017. Call us with your insurance card and we verify before you book.

For Cypress residents in Orange County, four statewide plans apply: Anthem Medi-Cal, Blue Shield Promise Medi-Cal, Cigna, and Aetna. LA Care and Molina are LA County plans and do not cover OC residents. The California Department of Health Care Services telehealth policy confirms Medi-Cal covers telehealth on the same terms as in-person care.

What we treat

What mental health care do you provide for Cypress clients?

The services our clinicians offer by video statewide and in person at the Cerritos office. If you do not see your concern, call us; intake is the best way to find out if we fit.

Individual therapy

Individual therapy is the practice's primary service. Adults work one-on-one with a clinician on anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD concerns, and life transitions. Treatment length follows medical necessity, not a session count.

Couples counseling

Couples counseling helps partners address recurring conflict, communication breakdown, and emotional distance. Sessions give both partners tools to name unmet needs and respond to each other.

Trauma therapy and EMDR

Trauma therapy and EMDR therapy are available to Cypress-area clients through telehealth and at the Cerritos office. An EMDR-trained clinician on our team delivers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma and stress-related concerns.

Anxiety and depression therapy

Anxiety therapy and depression therapy address the patterns under persistent worry, low mood, and the sense that nothing quite resolves. These are two of the most common reasons Cypress-area clients call us.

Medi-Cal therapy

Medi-Cal therapy is one of our strongest differentiators in north Orange County. Many practices in the area do not accept Medi-Cal for outpatient therapy. We do, and we have held that contract since November 2017.

Teen and adolescent therapy

Teen therapy gives young people a setting to process what is difficult. Clinicians use a non-judgmental approach to help teens build emotional skills and express themselves.

Language access

Can I see a therapist in my language from Cypress?

One of the most common frustrations we hear from north OC callers is that they cannot find a therapist who speaks Farsi, Tagalog, or Spanish. Our team delivers sessions in six languages beyond English: Spanish, Farsi, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.

North Orange County has large Hispanic, Filipino, and South Asian communities, and a language match matters for the therapeutic relationship. If language is a factor in your search, call us and we will match you with a clinician whose language fits. See our Medi-Cal therapy page for more on coverage.

In their words

What do clients say about Eye Cue Mental Health?

A note from someone we worked with at our Cerritos office.

"This therapist has saved my life. Makes you feel great when you walk out of his office. Saqui will also give you tools to continue your treatment on your own time. Highly recommend him for people all ages."
