Coverage

What insurance is accepted for Anaheim clients, including Medi-Cal?

Eye Cue Mental Health accepts Medi-Cal, Anthem Medi-Cal, Blue Shield Promise Medi-Cal, Cigna, and Aetna for Anaheim clients. These plans reach clients across California by telehealth therapy. Whether your specific plan covers the therapy you need depends on your plan and medical necessity, and we verify your benefits before your first session.

LA Care and Molina are LA County plans only and are not available to Anaheim residents. If your plan is an Orange County Medi-Cal managed-care plan or anything outside our contracts, call us and we will help you find a provider that fits.

Where we are

Where is your office if it is not in Anaheim?

Eye Cue Mental Health has one physical office: 17215 Studebaker Rd., Suite #110, Cerritos, CA 90703. From most of Anaheim, that is approximately 15 to 20 minutes via I-5 south or the 91 freeway west to the 605. West Anaheim ZIP codes (92801, 92804) are the closest, and Anaheim Hills runs about 20 to 25 minutes.

We do not have an Anaheim address, and we say so up front. Most Anaheim clients start on telehealth and drive over for in-person sessions when they want to. Telehealth is the primary access mode this page is designed for.

Continuity of care

Do you keep the same therapist by video and in person?

Big telehealth platforms assign whoever is available and cannot promise a face-to-face backup. At Eye Cue, your clinician is yours whether you join by video from Anaheim or walk into our Cerritos office. Per the California DHCS telehealth policy, Medi-Cal covers telehealth at the same rate as in-person care.

Anaheim clients often start on video because OC traffic makes a drive impractical, then come in person when they want to. You keep the same therapist, the same treatment plan, and the same billing. If the fit with your assigned clinician is ever off, we match you with someone else in the practice without restarts or new paperwork.

What we treat

What mental health services do you provide for Anaheim clients?

The services our clinicians offer by video statewide and in person at the Cerritos office. If you do not see your concern, call us; intake is the best way to find out if we fit.

Individual therapy

Individual therapy is the practice's primary service. Adults work one-on-one with a clinician on anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD concerns, and life transitions. Treatment length follows medical necessity, not a session quota.

Couples counseling

Couples counseling helps partners address recurring conflict, communication breakdown, and emotional distance, with real tools to name unmet needs and respond to each other.

Family therapy

Family therapy supports parents, children, and multi-generational dynamics. Clinicians work with the relationships shaping the household, not just the individual in distress.

Trauma therapy and EMDR

Trauma therapy and EMDR are available to Anaheim clients. A clinician on our team trained in EMDR offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. We accept Medi-Cal for EMDR therapy.

Anxiety and depression therapy

Anxiety therapy and depression therapy are among the most common reasons clients call. Clinicians work through the patterns underneath persistent worry and low mood.

Medi-Cal therapy

Medi-Cal therapy in California at a private practice is rare in the Anaheim area. Eye Cue has operated as a private practice in Cerritos since November 2017 and accepts Medi-Cal for the services covered by your plan.

Language access

Can I see a therapist in my language from Anaheim?

One of the most common frustrations we hear is that clients cannot find a therapist who speaks Spanish. Our team offers sessions in six languages beyond English: Spanish, Farsi, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.

Spanish is the most-requested language in Anaheim, where roughly half the population is Hispanic or Latino, and a language match matters for the therapeutic relationship. If language is a factor in your search, call us and we will match you based on your language and clinical needs.

We also have Farsi speakers on the team for the Persian community, along with Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. Per-clinician language pairing is confirmed at intake. Learn how language-matched sessions work on our telehealth therapy page.

Availability

Do you offer hours that work around Anaheim schedules?

Many outpatient mental health clinics in the Anaheim area run weekday-only hours and close on weekends. Eye Cue is open 7 days a week, 8 AM to 10 PM, including Saturday and Sunday.

If you work full days or your kids are in school until 5pm, that matters. Weekly sessions at a consistent evening or weekend time, based on current clinician openings, are available. Call to ask about current availability.

Why us

Why do Anaheim clients choose Eye Cue Mental Health?

The Anaheim therapy search results are dominated by directories and large chains, and many of them do not accept Medi-Cal. Eye Cue is a private practice supervised by Saqib Iqbal, LCSW, operating from Cerritos since November 2017, with Medi-Cal accepted.

Our team includes licensed clinicians and pre-licensure associates under direct LCSW supervision. Every associate at Eye Cue works under Saqib Iqbal, LCSW, who reviews their caseloads. This is how the California supervised-associate licensure path works.

Call us if you want the credential background of a specific clinician before booking. The team includes an LCSW, AMFTs, and ASWs, and we will tell you plainly who you would be matched with.

In their words

What do clients say about Eye Cue Mental Health?

A note from someone we worked with at our Cerritos office.

"This therapist has saved my life. Makes you feel great when you walk out of his office. Saqui will also give you tools to continue your treatment on your own time. Highly recommend him for people all ages."
