How care works
How does therapy work for Bellflower clients?
Eye Cue Mental Health does not have a Bellflower office. The Cerritos clinic is about 10 minutes from Bellflower 90706, straight down the 605 freeway. The office is at 17215 Studebaker Rd., Suite #110, where the 91 and 605 meet at the LA County and Orange County border.
Most Bellflower clients start sessions by video and drive to the Cerritos office when they want an in-person visit. The therapeutic relationship, treatment plan, and billing all stay continuous across both. Long waits to get a Medi-Cal therapist, often biweekly or monthly, are a real access barrier in southeast LA County.
If you could only get biweekly sessions elsewhere, that changes here. Weekly sessions are scheduled based on clinical need, not a session quota. Bellflower and nearby cities like Lakewood, Norwalk, and Artesia are all within the same travel window to the Cerritos office. Find therapists across the region at our Los Angeles County locations hub.
Continuity of care
Do you keep the same therapist in person and by video?
Big telehealth platforms and directories list telehealth and in-person as two separate filters, and cannot promise the same clinician on both. At Eye Cue, your clinician is yours whether you sit in the Cerritos office or join by video from anywhere in California. Founder Saqib Iqbal, LCSW, puts it plainly: the same therapist either way.
Clients from Bellflower often start on video, then drive to the Cerritos office when a face-to-face session fits their week. You keep the same therapeutic relationship and leave each session with tools to continue your treatment on your own time. If the assigned clinician is not the right fit, we match you with another clinician within the practice.
Per the California Department of Health Care Services telehealth policy, Medi-Cal covers telehealth sessions under the same terms as in-person care. You do not restart the insurance paperwork when switching between telehealth therapy and in-person visits, or between clinicians within the practice.
Coverage
What insurance is accepted for Bellflower clients?
Eye Cue Mental Health accepts Medi-Cal, Anthem Medi-Cal, Blue Shield Promise Medi-Cal, LA Care, Molina, Cigna, and Aetna. Coverage depends on your plan and medical necessity. We verify your benefits before your first session.
LA Care and Molina serve LA County only. Bellflower is in LA County, so both apply here. Anthem Medi-Cal, Blue Shield Promise, Cigna, and Aetna extend to clients statewide by telehealth. We have held Medi-Cal contracts since we opened in November 2017. Call us with your insurance card and we check together before you book.
What we treat
What mental health services are available to Bellflower residents?
The services our clinicians offer by video for Bellflower clients and in person at the Cerritos office. If you do not see your concern, call us; intake is the best way to find out if we fit.
Individual therapy
Individual therapy is the practice's core service. Adults work one-on-one with a clinician on anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD concerns, and life transitions. Treatment length follows medical necessity, not a session quota.
Couples counseling
Couples counseling helps partners address recurring conflict, communication breakdown, and emotional distance, with real tools to name unmet needs and respond to each other.
Trauma therapy and EMDR
Trauma therapy and EMDR therapy are available through our team. An EMDR-trained clinician on our team offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma and stress-related concerns. Most EMDR clinicians do not accept Medi-Cal; ours does.
Anxiety and depression therapy
Anxiety therapy and depression therapy are among the most common reasons Bellflower clients call us. Clinicians work through the patterns underneath persistent worry and low mood.
Medi-Cal therapy
Our Medi-Cal therapy page covers how insurance verification works, which plans reach Bellflower, and what to expect at intake. Whether your plan covers the service depends on medical necessity, and we confirm before you book.
Telehealth therapy
Telehealth therapy is the primary modality for Bellflower clients. Sessions run on a secure video platform, with the same therapist and treatment plan as any in-person visit. Statewide contracts cover telehealth across California.
Language access
Can I see a therapist in my language from Bellflower?
One of the most common frustrations we hear is that clients cannot find a therapist who speaks Farsi, Tagalog, or Spanish. Our team delivers sessions in six languages beyond English: Spanish, Farsi, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, spoken across our team at one outpatient practice.
Bellflower's population includes large Hispanic, Filipino, and South Asian communities, and a language match matters for the therapeutic relationship. If language is a factor in your search, call us and we will match you with a clinician whose language fits. See our Medi-Cal therapy page for more on coverage.
In their words
What do clients say about Eye Cue Mental Health?
A note from someone we worked with at our Cerritos office.
"This therapist has saved my life. Makes you feel great when you walk out of his office. Saqui will also give you tools to continue your treatment on your own time. Highly recommend him for people all ages."

Clients who start on video often find the flexibility makes it easier to attend consistently, which supports better clinical outcomes. You can switch to in-person at the Cerritos office at any time.
