Safety first
When to call 988 instead of booking with Virginia
Therapy with Virginia is outpatient care, and we do not run a 24-hour crisis line. Use 988 or the ER first if you are in crisis right now.
Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
Call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) any time.
Immediate danger
Go to your nearest emergency room or call 911.
Eye Cue Mental Health is outpatient psychotherapy only. We do not provide crisis stabilization or emergency services.
About Virginia
Family-centered therapy for children, couples and adults
Virginia Bissonnette is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who works with children, young adults, adults, couples and families. Her work centers on how what happens to one person affects the whole family, whether that is a divorce, a loss, or the strain a first responder's job puts on a home.
With children she uses play therapy, so they can work through feelings in their own language and learn ways to calm themselves. With adults and couples she draws on CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method, and her approach is trauma informed throughout. For clients who want their faith to be part of their healing, Virginia welcomes that.
She has worked with children in community and volunteer roles since 2015, and that experience shapes how she understands young people's emotional needs.

Insurance accepted for therapy with Virginia and our team
Eye Cue Mental Health accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare, Covered California, Cigna, Aetna, and many others. Plan participation can differ from one clinician to another, so we match you with a clinician your plan covers. Whether your plan covers this depends on your plan and medical necessity, and we verify before your first session. See the full insurance list and county details.
If you are unsure about your plan, call us and we will be direct about whether we can help.

Telehealth across California
Online therapy with our team anywhere in California
Our clinicians see clients by video anywhere in California. You can join from home, work, or wherever you feel settled, and keep the same clinician for as long as treatment runs. When it helps, you can switch to in-person sessions at our Cerritos office without changing therapists. Ask about Virginia's in-person and video availability on your intake call.
Statewide telehealth depends on your plan. Some Medi-Cal plans are limited to one county: L.A. Care, Carelon, and Health Net Medi-Cal to Los Angeles County, and CalOptima to Orange County. We verify your plan before your first session. See the full insurance list and county details.
